The crew is friendly and trying their best but were overwhelmed by too many passengers, stale food, bad wine, broken coffee machines, unthoughtful scheduling, a tiny casino with only one 7 card table that was full 12 hours a day, plus out dated slots, cutting corners, lack of parties or champagne fountains, or decent and fun trivia, the smallest beds I have seen on any cruise ship, no wifi, no one that could make the wifi work, and a new medallion system that is not ready for prime time. Worst Princess cruise in over 20. The Majestic just doesn't cut it. Although they have a beautiful indoor pool and front conservatory, avoid this ship. There were no photographers while boarding the ship and very few on board. No pictures in the restaurants on formal nights and if they made a video of the cruise it was a secret. Every night after waiting to be seated in the Concerto Dining room we were shown to our table through the waiters service area, surrounded by piled dirty dishes and glasses, and waiters trying to prepare food to be served. We sent back scallops that were bad and nobody cared. We sent back bad lobster and nobody cared. Never saw any supervisor in the dining room greeting people or asking how things were. Hope this isn't an indication of the post pandemic Princess treatment, but I already canceled another booking. I have had no problems on Carnival, but the Majestic Princess is not ready to sail even though they play the Love Boat theme about 100 times.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Very Small Balcony cabin with very small beds. Everybody keeps saying "It was built for the Asian Market". So, does that mean Asians like to be uncomfortable? The cabins have these annoying automatic lights that go on between the beds and outside the bathroom every time someone gets up. No one seemed to be able to turn them off. They took away the pizza by the slice near the pool and substituted noodle soup. No longer can you get a quick pizza bite for lunch or take it back to your cabin to watch a movie, now it's a sit-down slow service Italian restaurant with no take outs.

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

Love Cabo, been there many times. Found a hole in the wall bar called the Happy Ending, 2 Beers and 2 Shots for $5, try the Heffe Burrito....really good to share.
