This was our fourth try to take this cruise due to Covid but it was worth the wait. Embarkation was incredibly easy and we were on the ship eating a snack by 11:00 a.m. We were allowed to immediately go to our cabin to drop our carry-ons which was a pleasant surprise. We got our luggage about an hour later.
We learned a few days before the cruise that we would be going to Nassau instead of Grand Cayman, which was a disappointment, but it couldn't be helped. Our ship definitely had an older crowd and was only about half full which was great for us. The entire crew wore masks but very few guests did. Everything is incredibly clean and nobody seemed to be concerned about Covid. We certainly weren't.
Fun - I like to do a lot of activities and the activity staff on this ship made everything so fun. Tim, the Cruise Director, is hilarious and is always out and about interacting with guests and joining in activities. Gigi, the Activities Manager is the best we have ever seen on any cruise, always smiling and joking, and making sure all of the guests have a good time. Everyone on the ship loved Gigi. I have no doubt she will be a cruise director soon and it will be well deserved.
We had a concierge class balcony cabin. This was a standard size cabin, mid-ship, and was very convenient to everything. Our cabin steward, Ronaldo, kept everything well stocked and impeccably clean. The cabin has very little drawer space but that is the only issue I have.
