The Carnival product has drastically changed since Covid. Diamond members no longer receive the same benefits as before...Carnival has decreased amenities while other cruise lines have increased amenities for their most loyal guests.

the Horizon was supposed to be Wheelchair friendly, but elevators did not work for wheelchair users, the doors to the cabin locked out the automatic door openers, the ship was supposed to meet all ADA standards but greatly missed the mark.

The ship had a handicapped pool lift in the Aft pool, however, the lift would only go to the top of the water and not into the pool. It was useless. The lifeguard told us "Just jump into the pool." BUT my response was "How in the world are we going to get back on the seat to be lifted out of the pool." We did not use the lift for the duration of the cruise.
