Most cruises are so much fun, we always ask where did the time go? before you know it the cruise is over, so we thought this would be the perfect way to enjoy a lengthy 18 day cruise, only this cruise we were counting the days for it to end!
We knew having to wear a mask the entire time indoors would be a trade off for 1/3 capacity during our sailing, but it wasn’t long when we started noticing restricted access signs on more and more cabins and noticing fewer passengers around, we soon discovered how many passengers were quarantined, entire rows of decks closed off with trays left outside the cabin doors where meals were being delivered. Not just passengers but affected crew. Yet no one onboard was even aware of the surging cases.
With so many quarantined passengers, we wondered what precautions were being taken other than the same safety announcements. Apparently not enough especially when we were seated in the main dining room for breakfast and lunch, we would be randomly seated right next to other passengers, tables touching everyone shoulder to shoulder, how infuriating when this went on for the length of the cruise no matter how many passengers were up in arms about it, the staff would continue to pack everyone together without a care.
