Love the reduced capacity, could not go to one port. Great service.

Choose the Escape for dates and departure port. We were looking forward to 3 ports, and Hreat Strirrup Caye. One port was cancelled before we left, Grand Cayman instead another sea day. Not ideal. We were able to NOT wear masks on board which was very nice, but asked to wear them a each port. Have sailed on Norwegian before, first time on Escape. Our first stop is always O'Sheehan's. Best wings, burgers, fish and chips and desserts on the ship. Just found out they have an Ice Cream bar there as well. Milk shakes, sundaes, malts, and banana splits for all under $4.50.

Food in the main dinning rooms are good not great. Manhattan Room is a little more upscale, but Taste and Savor, all have great service. We love Cagneys and Teppanyaki for specialty dining. Garden Cafe is the buffet. My husband loved it, me not so much.

Entertainment was very good. The Company Men, a boy band mash up group I how they described their music, was very entertaining. Wide variety of music spanning several generations, we went to two different shows both excellent. Howl at the Moon dueling Pianos was very good as well.

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Balcony Stateroom

Had a forward Balcony cabin in deck 12. Good room, quiet except first night we opened our balcony door at night, it never sealed correctly after that had a buzzing sound all night. Just didn't pen it at night after that. One small TV, a queen/king bed and a couch. Bathroom is small, but shower is ok size with a hand held shower. Good storage shelves and plenty of hangers. A USB port by each bed in the light which was nice for charging phones at night.
