This was our 24th cruise (third post pandemic) and one of our best yet. Celebrity just does everything very well. The Apex is a beautiful ship. It is large but has a small ship feel because it is well laid out. We had about 1800 passengers out of 2900. It did not feel crowded. Every aspect of the cruise is first class. Service is excellent throughout the ship. The entertainment is great. Eden is particularly fantastic. No other cruise line has anything like Eden. You essentially get two sets of entertainment staff: one in the main theater and one in Eden. The acrobats in particular are world class. Most nights we saw two shows. The activities staff, led by cruise director Giuseppe, are also excellent. The casino is first-rate. There really was nothing about this cruise that disappointed. And Celebrity runs a tight ship -- things are well organized and always on time, which we appreciate. I'll give you a few criticisms. The food is overall good but I thought at times uninspired. I realize this is subjective. I thought in particular there could be more healthier options (whole grain and plant based). Not a lot of dancing opportunities and no piano bar. These are minor criticisms. We booked two more cruises on board, including another cruise with sister ship Edge, so we obviously were happy enough to come back for more.
