This was a family celebration that ended up being a nightmare. So many horrible things happened. Do not go on a Princess Cruise. The systemic problems are not outweighed by some of the nice crew. My $9,000 stateroom was a disaster – no heat or hot water for the first 3 days of the cruise. Black goo came out of the tub jacuzzi jets. The noise of the engines was really bad. A homeless person sleeping under a bridge would have more peace and quiet. The rocking of the ship caused my eyeglasses to be thrown from the night table and in the morning I found them on the floor BROKEN. I paid for Wi-Fi which didn’t work. And the medallion wouldn’t even work for location services to find my party. At one point, they replaced my medallion telling me that they were being proactive because it was going to break. Still location service would not work. My family in stateroom next door could not even get in their room for a couple days because their medallion would not let them in the room. They had to go through our room and use the balcony to get to their room. We travelled on Super Bowl Sunday and they TRIED to show the game, but several times Princess Wi-Fi went out. Do not bother with Princess. I wish I had not gone.
Pathetic – for $9,000 you would think they would clean it. You can see where they would dust the front of the base of a lamp, but would leave the opposite side caked with dust. Gross. The seal of the shower came off and hit me as I opened the shower door. Had tried to use the big jacuzzi tub, but black goo came out of the jets. Gross. I was seriously ripped off. And don’t forget, no heat or hot water for 3 days. Even then when they “fixed” it, it was barely passable. Pathetic.
