Cabin: Penthouse Suite

This was our first time on Oceania. We have cruised all the major lines and found this one the most enjoyable to date. Yes there were little things here and there like slow internet and a not so spa experience but overall it was very relaxing and enjoyable due to the staff.

They went out of their way to please and were genuine in this by the end of the cruise we felt we were leaving old friends. Our PH cabin was great except for the tiny shower. Tight for a 5’2” woman yet there was a big useless tub. The walk in closet was great. The food was excellent we did not care for Red Ginger or the Waves Grill but every other venue was excellent. The drink packages could use an overhaul. There was still the usual you can have this but not that even in the premium. If you want the ability to have a drink whenever you want this is still the way to go. It was unbalanced for the wine drinker. The by the glass selection was lacking. We did not want the wine bottle package as that was too much wine…but the by the glass had small not so great selections. Also pulling the card out every drink was tiresome. Sounds trivial but it irritated us. The itinerary was good but we had to tender more then usual. The average age ( 60s - 80s ) and no kids. The sea days entertainment was lacking but there was a little something for everyone. We do not gamble or partake in team trivia and there were only two boring bingos and a couple of craft classes. The artist loft offered beginner classes. Some of the cooking classes were of no interest..knives? LaReserve was a fun experience. The ship was very clean and everyone needed to be vaccinated, tested and wear masks when necessary. Hand sanitizer was utilized. We felt safe generally and enjoyed the half capacity experience.

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite

The cabin was spacious and had a walk in closet. The shower is too small they should turn the tub into a large walk in shower especially since clientele are seniors. The butler and room attendants were fabulous. No problems with temperatures or water pressure etc. Would have liked the entertainment shows available on TV and internet was slow.
