I just got back home around midnight from my first Ruby princess cruise . I cannot say enough about the kindness of the crew , wow , that was the real highlight of this cruise . I've cruised other cruise lines before and the staff was great but the crew on the princess exceeded all that . They took such good care of us . And the food was so so good . I loved the naturalist Mark Harris's presentation everyday about the fauna and sealife of the Hawaiian islands he also gave fabulous tips on how to get around the islands . Loved the supersonics singing group that preformed every night in the Explorers lounge stage . Loved the culinary class too . The islands were beautiful seen some whales breach from my balcony . Princess provided beautiful purple orchids from Honolulu and we all made flower leis . This was a wonderful retirement celebration for me and princess gave me a beautiful chocolate cake with a candle and at all the portals it popped up with a Happy Retirement every time I came near it wearing my medalian. I did have some trouble at times with spotty internet connection with the medallion app .
My balcony cabin was beautiful and a fabulous bed ! The mattress was great , very very comfortable sleep . Bathroom was a nice size and lots of storage in the room .
I did not get off in Ensenada but still enjoyed it from my balcony . It was raining and unseasonably cold but with the rain was rewarded with a stunning rainbow
