I chose this cruise because I enjoy the entertainment on MSC and it didn’t disappoint. Also there was no single supplement so this was amazing value MSC Magnifica is a wonderful ship big enough to feel spacious (particularly at only 1/3 capacity) but. Not too big to be a menace to navigate.
The food was very good and the crew couldn’t be more friendly and helpful, excepting in a couple of areas.
I had an inside cabin which was wonderful. We were u fortunately affected by weather but the whole itinerary ch age was handled extremely well by MSC. The cruise director Anna was amazing and a pleasure to listen to as she rattled through 5 different languages seemingly perfectly and effortlessly. The waiter Tony really made the cruise a personal and enjoyable experience.
Cabin Review
Cabin was clean and very well appointed. Cabin steward did a marvellous job of tidying twice a day. My cabin had Pullman beds for upto 4 total. These beds did get in the way somewhat, making it slightly difficult to walk around the double bed. I asked for double bed as I would fear hitting my head if the cabin was in twin setup. Lighting in the cabin is well thought out. Kettle with tea and coffee in the cabin is a nice touch. Only minor criticism would be that it would be handy to have the ability to charge phone next to the bed.
