My wife and I sailed on the Symphony of the Seas on 2/5/22. This is another great Oasis class ship. It was very questionable whether we were going to make this cruise as we were flying American Airlines and 7 PM Friday night they cancel our flight for 7 AM Saturday morning. We were lucky that we could book a Southwest flight and it got us to Miami on time. It did not take us very long to get on the ship even though we had to show a passports, set sail and COVID test results. They said there were 2900 people on board and it didn't appear very crowded. Since my wife and I cruise the Caribbean a lot the itinerary is not that important to us but we like good food and good entertainment. We did enjoy the day at Labadee and Coco Cay as they have done a good job making it a fun day. We did not do any specialty restaurant as they have gotten so expensive, generally $50 or more per person. The food in the dining room was good. We were expecting to see the production show Hairspray but they did not have it. They had a 50 minute production show which was good, but the headliner shows were not great. The ice show was good but the Aqua show was more dancing than anything else. If you have been on these Oasis class ship before you will notice that they are not what they used to be. All in all, it was good but not what I have come to expect from Royal Caribbean. The biggest area for improvement is entertainment.
We were in cabin 9210 which was a nice balcony cabin.
Labadee is still a nice private island to go to.
