This was my 50th cruise and we are Elite. There was a line at embarkation which wasn't handled very well but the Medallion made it easier to check in. We had a glitch with Covid testing which made for a rough precruise day but we did have a back up Binax Now test with us which I recommend. We stayed at the AC Marriott Dania, a new hotel in a nice area. Since we had the drinking package we didn't need to stop at Total Wine. We took an Uber to the port. There were 1920 passengers on this sailing, no kids. Passengers were very mask compliant. Service was great and the ship is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the Infinity pool, quieter than the main pools with the blaring Movies. Pools were cold the first few days but warmed up as we went south. We had an obstructed deluxe cabin E410 with no obstruction. Bathroom was TINY and I am not a big person. We found the entertainment to be mediocre although I enjoyed attending the crafting sessions. The cruise director Marcus was wonderful. We also went to the Elite Happy Hour several times. The buffet was half opened and always easy to find seating. The ship was being cleaned all the time. Food in the dining room was basic. We did try Bistro Sur Mer and enjoyed the duck. Internet was so so. Many people used their phones for the Medallion app, I left mine in the safe. Disembarkation was easy as many cruisers stayed on the ship for the next cruise. We made a 9:45 flight home from FLL. We loved the ports and did 2 ship excursions the rest on our own.
E410 has an angled balcony overlooks Gigi's outdoor area, never saw anyone on it. Quiet cabin, bed near the bathroom with small pull out couch.
Went to Beachlimerz with a Cruisecritic group. Not far from the port. $25pp deposit includes chairs and a drink. Taxi on your own.
Took a ship's excursion to Harbour Lights on Carlisle Bay. Had a enjoyable day there, anywhere on that Bay is a nice beach.
Took a snorkeling excursion to Nevis booked with Princess. Very windy took a long time to get to snorkeling, didn't have much beach time as promised. Princess gave us goodwill credit. Stay on St Kitts, not worth it.
Went with Spencer Ambrose tour to Sugar Beach. They were late getting gas, we stopped to let people off in soufriere and we had no chairs at the beach. Would not go again.
We took a taxi to Megan's Bay. Haven't been there in many years but we were the only ship in port. Lovely beach but beach chairs $65 for 2 ($30 back when returned) and you have to shlep them yourself. Very annoying.
