Cabin:

Having taken many Celebrity cruises, We thought it would be interesting to sail on the new Celebrity ship. The ship is beautiful. It is very contemporary, bright, and immaculate. In the downside, it may appeal to a younger crowd. There isn’t one place on the ship to enjoy a quiet cocktail. There are none of those cozy nooks where you can meet up with other passengers and have a conversation. The music is very loud which I wouldn’t object to as long as there’s an alternative venue.

The new cabin configuration is a disaster. While the use of space is quite good, the balcony y isn’t a balcony at all. It is just a window that has a top that slides down. There are no comfy chairs to sit out and watch the sea go by. Be aware… this is not a balcony. It’s part of the room with a window.

On top of that it can be locked at any time by the captain. We came back to our room and tried to open it to get some air and it was locked! We paid for a balcony and got a window. This is a deal breaker for us. We’ll never sail on a new celebrity ship again.

Cabin Review

As reviewed above, the cabin was awful. Not a balcony at all. Simply a large window that can be opened from the top. Very disappointing. No comfy chairs to sit on. This is a big misstep in design. Would never sail on this again.
