COVID has pushed many services and business though the open door of technology. Check in was efficient and quick. The rep had a tablet loaded with the information we had added to the app while we were at home. We answered a few questions, presented our vaccination info and PCR test results and walked onto the ship. I think it took all of five minutes. The muster was conducted on the TV in our room.

Every other guest room was occupied. On an open deck no masks were required. Masks were required inside the ship, except when drinking or dining. The crew was always masked. Since the ship had 1099 guests, nothing was overcrowded. Plenty of loungers at the pool. The captain announced on the third day, that no cases had been reported, to applause from all. Several days later, he repeated the statement to our delight.

The ship had a full crew for a third capacity of guests. We can only rave about Opfelia, our state room attendant and the staff at Blu, Bianca, Jojo, Soothon and Dennis the sommelier. Seating at events was spacious due to the low capacity. There is no self service in the buffet, food is presented by staff. I prefer the service, rather than letting everyone handle the utensils.
