It's convenient for me to sail from Tampa and I really like the Brilliance and other Radiance class.
The ship is 20 years old but we'll cared for. Constant sanitizing and polishing was being done. The Radiance class best asset are the sea views from public areas. Window and glass abundant. Crew told us the Brilliance is going into drydock for updates in a couple of months.
Due to covid protocols distancing was being maintained. Every other dining table unused. Four passengers to an elevator. There were 1200 passengers on this sailing which is a little less than 50%. Masks required for interior spaces except while seating to eat or drink. No smoking in casino.
We had cabin starboard, midship. It was a very quiet location. Cabins to the left and right were unoccupied. No noice from Solarium area above.
Because this cabin is located in a hump the exterior wall curved inward making the size of the grand suite slightly smaller than a standard shaped cabin. The balcony seemed to be larger than standard, private but from the railing the forward/front of the ship could be viewed.
Port amenities are extensive with shopping, entertainment, swimming pool. Dolphin experience. Restaurants & bars, access to cabs.
Convenient for Florida resident.
Cozumel excursion was to Chankanaab Park.
