Sail Date: Feb 2022
Cabin: Deluxe Balcony

I enjoyed my western Caribbean cruise on the Regal Princess. I sailed solo for the sixth time. The ship was at greatly reduced capacity--either 1,266 passengers or 1,325, depending on which crew member had the number correct. There were more crew members than passengers either way.

The Regal Princess is still a beautiful ship. I had a great free upgrade to an aft deluxe balcony cabin on the Riviera deck. It had a loveseat and a larger balcony than regular balcony cabins do.

This was my first cruise with Princess Plus. I enjoyed being able to order beverages without worrying about the cost. I never came close to the 15-drink limit for alcoholic ones. I did run into several passengers who did.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

I had a beautiful view of the wake from my aft deluxe balcony cabin. It was comfortably furnished. There was plenty of storage space for my things. The downside to the balcony was that there is no cover above it. During the day, most of the time it was too sunny for me. But I enjoyed it early in the mornings and at night.
