Having had a lovely cruise in Sept aboard the Millenium we were looking forward to this B2B in the Caribbean. There was a bit of confusion at the port with times not being well marked until port personnel started calling by entry time. After that a breeze, we were in our cabin 28 minutes from Uber drop off. Our cabin changed from deck 7 as we had anticipated, we were placed in a lovely cabin on deck 11 aft. There were 842 passengers so sailing at about 40% capacity which allowed us to stay well distanced whenever we wanted. The service and food in Blu were lovely - such a treat after rarely eating out at home. The public rooms were updated last year and were very comfortable. Our Aqua cabin had new fittings but not full revolutionized, but I was very happy with glass doors on the shower. We traditionally have one beverage before dinner and could always find a corner away from folks in the Rondevous lounge. Evening shows were at 7 and 9, again we were able to sit on levels 2 or 3 to sit away from others. Belize was substituted for Cartagena, we did tender in and visit the AltuHan ruins on a Celebrity tour. We were told on board it would go at 60% occupancy but on arriving the bus was full. We did enjoy the Beyond the Podium speaker as the history presentations for countries new to us was very informative. I talk about being away from folks as I still ended up feeling quite bad on day 6 and tested positive while DH was negative after 2 tests. As you can quess, I was escorted to a quarantine cabin on deck 7(balcony) for the remaining 6 days of the cruise. For anyone who cares, this balcony was very tired looking and had the dreaded shower curtain. Celebrity did what they could to make it okay - daily visits by medical staff and streaming for the internet but it was challenging to occupy the days when not feeling well. I was fortunate that our outstanding Blu team made sure to check on me and send meals from their menu. DH unfortunately had to join me on day 10 which meant he also had to quarantine in Tampa another 3 days before we could fly home. Not the trip we had planned but we knew traveling at this time can be an adventure.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class Balcony

Our Aqua cabin was very nice - refreshed cabin including deeper balcony with footstools as well as nice chairs. We loved the location with very close access to deck 11 as well as Sunset Grill. Bathroom was lovely including multi spray shower and glass doors. I also noted new mattress which was quite comfortable.
