My family of 5(Dad, Mom, two teens, and a kid) went on the 2021 Christmas cruise and had a great time. The prepared online covid tests and boarding passes weren't a problem, but I do stress this, bring everybody's birth certificates. A party member almost missed the ship because they wouldn't allow their driver's license for an id.
Generally saying, I'm 16, so I will go into the kids' clubs, wifi, the mega floor dance parties, and food because that is what I care about the most on the cruise. From a teen's view, this cruise was OK, great even. I met tons of people and was out every night, dancing and/or taking pictures at the photoshoots. The Sunshine had a jitty fun vibe, like the one you can't get out from your head, and it spreads throughout your body, yes, that one. The director, Donkey, was funny and always ready to have fun, which was annoying at 7 in the morning, but what can you do?! The wifi was OK, it never cut out, and I never had a problem getting to sites.
My party had another teen and a little kid, so we were all in different clubs. I was in the O2 club, my brother in circle c, and my little sister in camp ocean. Camp Ocean is pretty reliable, and my little sister loved it. My brother was pretty frequently in circle c and in O2, me not so much. I pretty much opted out for the mega deck party and/or walking around the ships with friends.
Great cabin, good view, and Randy, our steward, forever get thanks! He's the man who always kept our rooms clean.
Good deck times and good department times.
St. Thomas was a dream, sailboats and all. The island was so pretty and had the best shopping trip there. I saw this sailboat, I wanted it so bad and I still want it.
