I chose this cruise because it was going to Hawaii and I believed it would be safer because of the destination as well as the vaccination and testing requirements. We were detained for a few hours before boarding due to Hawaii requiring us to get tested again before we boarded even though we had to be tested 2 days before. It made me feel safer. We paid to upgrade from an interior to a balcony. The front desk assisted us in making the change. Our balcony cabins on deck 10 were adequate, but small as they were supposed to be for 2 people.

I had made a dinner reservation nightly for 2 at the same time, but found out that was gone. Laszlo, Restaurant Manager, took good care of us. My sister needed a vegan diet and he made sure that she did designing meals for her nightly and checking for our satisfaction. The customer service in Da Vinci from Laszlo, the other restaurant managers, and waitstaff exceeded expectations.

We booked 3 of our 4 excursions through Princess ahead of the cruise and we’re only disappointed with one lunch there where they took us to a restaurant outside, sat us on dirty cushions, and offered porta potties. We complained and I really don’t think Princess had any idea about this stuff since they just restarted. I would not book excursions through them because they use the same companies that you could book for less money.

Cabin Review

The cabin was a balcony for 2 people. I was alone and I would have hated to shared this cabin. There was no room to spare and a very small shower.
