Our reason for cruising was simply to get away and find warmer weather. We didn't get off the boat because I have a bum knee and didn't want to jeopardize my surgery early in February . We have never liked cruises that nickel and dime you and went knowing that Princess tries to get every penny and I have to say that they really didn't bother us too much.

We were in a mini-suite on deck 8 (emerald). The suite was good. pretty standard, but good. The room stew was wonderful. The ship was about a quarter full, so we got excellent service from everyone. The food was average to good. Really enjoyed the grill on the deck for lunch as well as the Crown Grill for dinner. Also enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool (Hollywood) and then sun bathing on the deck on the two warm days we had. All in all, we enjoyed being away and we found our warm weather.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin was clean. The beds narrow but comfy. Enough room for two but had to squeeze by each other often. Liked the additional drapes between the bed and sitting area. We slept long because of the dark. Toilet stuck once, but was fixed right away. Room was attended to only once a day but we liked that. Always had excellent service.
