This cruise was originally scheduled for April 2020 but kept getting postponed due to COVID. We were finally able to go in January 2022 - which was great because my daughter is pregnant and Carnival does not allow you to sail past 24 weeks. She was 22 weeks when we went. Although I will mention that no one ever asked about it - so if you are worried about it because you are cutting it close - I wouldn't be. They didn't ask for a doctor's note or anything like that.
Of course the below is just my opinion and my experience so other people might have different thoughts.
The Good:
The cabin was fine and the cabin steward was great. The balcony was nice but not usable when it was really cold.
Half Moon Cay is great - especially if you get a cabana. We had a great time at the beach here.
Unless you go on an excursion - this is one of the most uninteresting ports there is. You dock in an industrial area. You can go out and visit the little souvenir stands for simple stuff - but that's about it. There's really no "town" here.
A little better than Freeport as there actually is a town here - but it's not that great. Again, unless you are on an excursion there's not much here.
