We chose this cruise some months back when it was thought covid was slowing. It was an itinerary we had done before on Britannia. This was Azura's 3rd cruise after cruises were suspended. Although not an official figure it was thought there were about 1600 on board - half capacity, and most notably the age demographic was far far lower than cruises I have been on, well done younger people realising a cruise caters for everyone. There were no children on board this cruise.
Please take note and follow the check list that P&O send you and double check ALL the boxes, this will enable smooth check in all the way from airport to cruise terminal In Barbados.
Our flight was from Manchester on the 787 Dreamliner. I recommend the 1903 ' lounge ' pre- flight. On arrival at Barbados a few steps and on a new fleet of mini coaches to the port. Check in was swift, straight to muster stn for boarding pas to be scanned, cabin card was in an envelope outside the cabin. '' Muster safety is watched on the tv in the cabin ''
The cabin was spotless, not sure if the carpet was new, it looked it, but if not the cabin had had a deep clean on re-fit,
Furnishings same and the TV, but we do not go on a cruise to watch television,
Bathroom spotless, do note Azura is 12 years old and cruise ship designs change, when a ship is built the interior cannot be changed
