We have travelled on QE before and QV. Both superb ships. This break was to have some winter Sun to islands we had been to before and liked. The arrival at Southampton docks was a bit disorganised. Cunard said to go into Gate 20 which was not a good idea as it's the Container port and there was only one sign to the screening area and that was much later; we did find it eventually by accident. It's also miles away from the ship. All the staff on board were excellent and plenty of them in the restaurants. In the buffet, staff had to serve you but they were very good and it worked well. The Britannia Grill worked pretty well as normal. The Theatre had social distancing in place with blocked seats. Shore trips worked a normal but with a record taken of you coach seat position. Masks on board in public areas. We did pickup Covid 2 days before arrival back in Southampton. The medical centre were very good. We were moved to another balcony cabin in a Covid restricted area of a deck and had to stay in the cabin and have room service. The medical centre and Pursers desk called regularly to check all was OK. We had to leave the ship after others had left and with guys in protective suits and sprays; different from usual. We have no idea where Covid came from. QE remains a good ship and we will travel Cunard again on QE or QV but not QM.

Good as usual. Clean and worked well. No dislikes.
