This is our first cruise and certainly was not amazing or even anything close to what we signed up for. After two planned Mediterranean Cruises were cancelled with Oceania refusing to refund our monies, or offer any incentives for the cancelled cruises, we booked a Caribbean Cruise that had six ports with day long adventure opportunities. After a few port changes in the weeks before sailing, there was a major change to the ports on the day before sailing. This change resulted in less time off the ship with only five ports and limited shore time at those ports. Two ports were not even interesting to us. This was not a cruise that we would have chosen if given the option. The last port of our modified trip was cancelled due to alleged “rough waters”. The end result was that for a 10-day cruise we were allowed off the ship about 20 hours. This was a very expensive sunbathing trip. Not only did the cruise line not acknowledge the major change to the ports, there was not any credit or incentives provided for this disappointing cruise. We were hostages to them. Apparently COVID is a great excuse for the cruise line to do whatever they wish to the customer.

The bathroom in our room had a strong urine odor and we had to call housekeeping. While the smell got better, it was still offensive for the entire cruise.

To add insult to injury, the cruise line has our credits wrong and has shorted us. We were not given all of our credits for the previously paid cruises that were cancelled. Despite my efforts to address this issue (while I am allegedly on vacation) I was simply passed from person to person and treated very rudely. I am still trying to address this issue. Read more
