What an amazing experience from start to finish. The booking process was easy and simple to complete and from the minute we landed until the minute we left the Uniworld and Spring Tours teams were amazing. I don't think I carried my bag once from checking it in at Heathrow until lifting off the carousel on the return to Heathrow!

First few nights and the last couple were in the Four Season on the Nile. This is exactly what you would expect from a 5 star business type hotel.

The magic starts to happen when you meet your guide/Egyptologist. Hazem was amazing. It is quite clear that he is passionate about his amazing country and the history it holds, and wow, what a history it holds! He would not be out of place as a top university professor. He made you feel like you were the only person on the tour. I do wonder on some tours if the guiding is scripted but this was clearly not the case with Hazem, his knowledge went far beyond any script.

What can I say, amazing. If I have to find one small issue, it would be that the air conditioning didn't have a heat setting. Most of the time you wouldn't need this but nights in Egypt in January can get quite chilly!
