We were in a Celebrity suite. The angled balcony with room for three lounges and a table and chairs 1618. Highly recommended. Only problem is getting in and out of bathtub. Very high ledge. Great room attendant and butler. They taped a towel over the bedroom window so I could sleep in darkness while my husband watched playoff games on ESPN. Luminae staff terrific. We often ordered a combination of the suite menu and the MDR menu. Lobster salad, Luminae burger and the MDR roast beef were standouts. Breakfasts were wonderful. We didn’t go off the ship. We’ve been to all the ports many times. Felt no need too, but spent out days reading upstairs on the suite sun deck ( enough shade to my relief) having lunch up there and you can order off the limited menu . They will also get you a great hot dog. The buffet was excellent, everything looked and tasted fresh. No cutting corners unlike our Princess cruise in December. We had fresh flowers, chocolate on pillows, afternoon snacks, a nice carry bag etc. played a lot of trivia with trivia queen Kimi. FUN. Disappointed at no production shows but Shawna ( CD) killed her self getting entertainment flown in. Outstanding was Celli, Violinist, and Our Lady Valentine ( four fabulous UK boys who rocked the place). A little annoyed that as the cruise went on people let mask protocol slip but we were lucky that only 7 people got covid out of 1400 pax and 900 crew. Very low numbers none serious and much safer that staying home. I gambled like crazy in the casino because you could hop on any machine. I hit a hand pay and another big hit enough to give me 40% off a cruise for next winter. Future cruises can now book casino discounts which it just great. Big discount on a Royal suite and all perks plus $800 stateroom credit. It was a great cruise. We had a wonderful time.
