Normally, we have had no issues or problems with Oceania, but this cruise was different. First, the cruise itinerary was changed three days before we travelled canceling a place we wanted to go. Then four days into the cruise, the itinerary was change again dropping two countries and three ports from the cruise entirely. There was no compensation offered and we had 8 days at sea on a 16 day cruise.

While individual staff tried to make the best of it - it was pretty boring after 4 consecutive days on sea. We received no apology from the Cruise Line and we feel a bit taken for a full price cruise with over 10 days of only at sea activities.

There was also a COVID-19 outbreak on the ship (staff and passengers) yet a I still saw passengers not wearing masks. The ship was not following United States CDC COVID-19 protocols or cruise ship regulations, but some sort of administrative policy that had no basis for medical fact or reason- that was very discouraging as well.

Smaller, but clean. The mattresses were nice.
