I was invited to participate in the $50,000 Slot Tournament on this cruise and had participated in same on the Koningsdam in January 2020. Sailing on a brand new ship was wonderful and the crew was so happy, attentive, and helpful. We had a Vista Suite, mid-ship, and enjoyed it although it was smaller than it looked in the photos. We had wonderful meals in the Cannelleto (twice) and the Tamarind (once). We only ate in the MDR once for dinner and twice for breakfast, otherwise ate dinners and breakfasts in the Lido Buffet. The MDR dinner was disappointing only because our waiter forgot us until a manager realized what had happened. When we finally received our food it was very good. Buffet was not self-serv as the food was served by staff which we appreciated. There were hand washing stations at the Buffet entrances and staff there to encourage you to use them. The NY Deli was great and we had pizzas and sandwiches there several times for lunches. We received four really nice face masks in our cabin and there were disinfecting stations all over the ship. The casino was too small, just as the one on the Koningsdam, but I spent lots of time there anyway. The BB King Blues group was fantastic as was the Lincoln Center Stage group. We didn't attend any shows in the main theatre. We will be sailing on the Rotterdam again in Feb. and March, 2022, and can't wait!!
Our cabin was mid-ship and enjoyed it very much, although it was a bit smaller than it looked in photos.
We did the ship-sponsored train ride around the island of St. Kitts and enjoyed it very much. There were lots of shops and restaurants right beyond the dock.
