This was our 8th cruise, but our 1st time with Royal Caribbean.
We just got back from our 7-day Western Caribbean cruise that started out of Galveston, TX 01-09-2022 to 01-16-2022 and we went to Roatan, Honduras, Cozumel, Mexico and Puerto Costa Maya. This ship was very clean, and the staff was right on top of everything. There were only about 1300 passengers rather than the normal 3900+ due to Covid-19 fears and rules, so the service was extra great. We chose to eat our evening meals in the main dining room and every night, they had a great selection of fine dining foods to choose from. We tried many different types of the food that was offered and were mostly very satisfied with our selections. Haven't stepped on the scales yet but I'm sure we gained a few pounds. The Windjammer buffet was another place to get some awesome food. Didn't partake with any of the specialty restaurants as I didn't think there was any need to spend the extra money when there was so much great food available without paying extra for it.
No problems with getting on or off the ship at the different ports. Each excursion we did was an adventure and we enjoyed them all. As health issues prevented us from going on the more adventurous excursions, we thoroughly enjoyed the Beach break type excursions that we had booked through RC.
Absolutely no issues with our balcony cabin.
Friends had already booked and asked us to go along and we enjoy cruising, so we did.
