After 23 months, I was so ready to get back out on the open seas. Had never been on the Pride, but had been on one of her sister ships. So I was familiar with the ship’s layout. Easy to navigate. Glad that we could walk through the casino without having to smell cigarette smoke.
I only ate in the MDR for breakfast. Two of the days were for Seaday brunch. Service was excellent and attentive. The juice and coffee were great. Felt the food was somewhat subpar. Ate lunch and dinner mainly in the Buffet. Guy’s Burgers, The Deli, The Asian spot, which turned into the Seafood Shack after 4 pm. I didn’t feel like the buffet gave much of a variety of food. Ate at the Deli mostly.
There were 4 different comedians onboard. 2 different ones for each night. Let’s just say I’ve seen better. I didn’t care for one of them at all. Didn’t think their jokes were funny. Went to one of the broadway shows, which was okay. The music was good , the singing was quite up to par.
Loved the location. 7th deck Alf with extended balcony. Easy to get to the lido buffet.
No excursion. Stayed at the port area. Did a little sightseeing, shopping and had lunch.
Went to Fat Tuesday’s. Had lunch with a family member, who docked on a different ship in port.
