Enjoyed the Upper Mississippi River cruise. We were looking for an opportunity to get back to vacationing and enjoying the sights of new surroundings. This cruise did that for us. The crew was well versed in their duties. Dining was a joy as I like trying new foods and wines. Seating for the dining room was open and the second day we found a waiter we really liked and tried to get one of his tables each day. Most of the afternoon entertainment was good. One of the presentations was about Mark Twain and really helped us to understand his life on the Mississippi. The evening entertainment was good and enjoyable. We did leave early for one evening as it wasn't the type of music we enjoyed. Every morning we were docked and able to take a bus into town and see what was there. Always had a local on the bus to tell us about the sights and history of the area. Some walking and additional shore excisions were also offered. If someone is worried about motion sickness this would not be a problem on a river cruise. It was always very smooth going. Usually needed to look at the shore to know you were moving.

Cabin Review

The cabin was clean and sized for easy moving about for 2 people. We didn't spend much time in the cabin as we were out enjoying the activities, food, drinks and entertainment.
