Cabin deluxe deck 7 135

The cabin was spacious with lots of storage space. There was plenty of wardrobe space but the hotel style hangers fell off with the slightest touch. The lighting was good with controls by the bed. There was a good view from picture window only slightly obscured by lifeboats when looking upwards. We had an exceptionally calm cruise and did not feel any motion on deck 7. Other passengers complained of noise and vibration in the lower decks. There was a noticeable vibration or wobble throughout the ship, but this did not bother us at all, and in fact was quite soothing.

The bathroom was tired, and the shower was only just adequate. The water pressure was lower at popular times. We made good use of the over bath line and towel hangers. The towels were a bit grey, but were changed frequently. I am addicted to an early morning cup of tea but there was no kettle in the cabin and bringing your own was banned. It cost £1.75 for room service for one cup of tea, provided with a small cup and one poor quality tea bag. We resolved this by buying a thermos flask and filling it at the Lido Restaurant when we went to bed. Tea bags (PG Tips), sugar and creamer were freely available in the Lido. The water in the cabin was drinking quality but heavily chlorinated, so we stuck to bottled water for drinking.
