We choose this cruise because of its destinations. Panama Canal, Cartagena, Costa Rica, Grand Turk, Jamaica. I will applaud them for there covid enhancements, people wore their masks and everyone was respectful of this and of spacing.

We were disappointed that the ship although clean and kept up it is a bit outdated. The activities were mediocre to boring. Understandably, with Covid restrictions, but there was nothing there to make you feel you were on vacation. It felt like the activities given to elders in a nursing home. The bingo game "character" was a bit immature, instead of it being fun and appealing. Knitting and bible class on a cruise was not what I was expecting.

Very disappointed and will report to the CDC, the smoking area was an enclosed small (very small - maybe 10x10) space for the smokers no air ventilation and prime for Covid exposure. With so much open deck area away from people that were empty would have been a logical choice. Men like to have their cigars and drink and this was not the case.

Port Reviews

Cartagena (Colombia)

Enjoyed the walking tour of Cartagena. After visiting i am encouraged to come back to visit for a longer period. It was a shame the day at port there was only a couple of hours in the early morning when everything was closed ! so came to a quiet, sleepy Sunday morning town. No souvenir shops were open.

Colon (Cristobal)

So disappointed in this port. dirty, run down, actually scary - when we walked off the police advised us to return to ship. did an excursion of "supposedly a rain forest" - it was actual a path to the river with tropical exotic plants we have here in South Florida. the cruise in the canal was in dirty water behind peoples homes. did not feel very eco friendly. did see sloths, a crocodile and herons.

Grand Turk

Grand Turk is only for going to the beach by the exit of ship - there is nothing to do in this port. again another port arrived early and left by noon, you can't do much at all not even enjoy the beach area and the bars and restuarants.
