Regent is one of our favorite cruise lines and we heard they were launching a new ship with a cruise in and out of Miami . We decided that because we live in Florida that a cruise in and out of our home state would be easy, even off for whatever reason even if we ended up testing positive for Covid . Worst case they would tell us to go home and quarantine ..

We booked when we were told no masks required on board , and four days prior to sailing that changed.... If we could have gotten our money refunded , we would not have gone. Coming from a city and state that does not require masks, "masking up" was awful....

The ship is without question the prettiest we have ever sailed on ... nothing was spared in the design ..the rooms were breath taking , common areas magnificent , dining establishments off the charts amazing... the spa beautiful ... luckily the 10 days we were on masks were not required in the gym when working out..the they added that requirement the day prior to us leaving ... There were no deep discounts to take this cruise, so buyer be ware... There were also a coupe of ports that did not allow us in, and several islands that insisted on masks being worn outside....or pay a steep fine.
