REVIEW OF "GATEWAY TO SUNSHINE” CRUISE"

We just returned from the Oceania “Gateway to Sunshine” sixteen-day cruise that started in Miami on December 21st, 2021. It would be a vast understatement to say our experience with this cruise was disappointing.

We booked this cruise in late August primarily because of the impressive number of destinations it offered: Miami; Georgetown, Grand Cayman; Cartagena, Columbia; Panama Canal; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; Acapulco, Mexico; Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; San Diego; Los Angeles. Bit by bit the itinerary was reduced, due to COVID concerns) with the final change cutting both Acapulco and Cabo San Lucas from the trip.

Cabin Review

The cabin was comfortable. I wish there was some sort of door (or a least a curtain) between the sleeping area and the living room. This would provide more privacy and quiet for the "late sleepers".
