Sail Date: Dec 2021
Cabin: Neptune Deluxe Veranda Suite

We chose this cruise because it met our needs from a schedule perspective. We spent Christmas with family and wanted to cruise over New Years. The boarding process was simple and rapid, essentially present your identification, proof of full vaccination, proof of Covid testing negative results within the preceding two days, and boarding pass and your crossing the gangway. The cabin (a SB class suite) was nicely furnished and immaculate. The crew friendly.

However, we found the Eurodam disappointing. First, the food quality in the main dining room was poor, e.g., salmon overcooked, beef in stroganoff mostly fat. Service was attentive, but slow (possibly understaffed). We ate twice each at the specialty Tamarind Asian and Pinnacle steakhouse restaurants. Both were very good and well worth the nominal cover charge. Breakfast and lunch at the Lido casual restaurant were good. The hamburgers and bratwurst at the pool restaurant were tasteless and poor.

Bar service and drinks were good at the Ocean Bar and elsewhere.
