This was an expedition cruise to Antarctica and the Falkland Islands. The trip of a lifetime! The expedition crew and landings were phenomenal, as were the lectures on board the ship. I learned and saw so much. The food was fantastic as well. The ship only has 265 passenger cabins, and we were at less than half capacity due to COVID, so the experience was even better than expected. The pool deck had two jacuzzis and an infinity pool, and the explorer lounge on deck 10 had floor to ceiling windows for fantastic viewing of the passing scenery. The science center and lecture halls on deck 6 were very impressive. There were multiple viewing decks, including sheltered areas. The ship is very eco-friendly, and runs on hybrid power. I highly recommend the ship and this trip. Can't wait to go on another voyage with Hurtigruten. Maybe along the coast of Norway for viewing the northern lights.

Cabin Review

The cabin space was wonderful, and the balcony added to the enjoyment. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom had plenty of space and a heated floor, and there were two comfy reclining chairs in the sitting area in front of the TV.
