I have over a dozen cruises and I usually stay away from Carnival but this being a new ship with a lot of hype I thought I would give it a try .Cabin was nice with plenty of storage but the TV was in an awkward spot and the toilet when you had to go potie was cramped with toilet paper in the wrong position . Crew went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating . I had problems with the layout of the ship . Being such a big ship things like the stores should be together not on 3 levels same for the restaurants which at times for me when I wanted one thing and my wife wanted something else for lunch it meant dealing with different decks . Golden Corral is like gourmet compared to their buffet ,the Italian restaurant was nothing to talk about same for Chibang , the 555 Steakhouse was good but not worth the extra price , dining room was fair and menu seemed very limited in choices . Shows were not at all entertaining and day to day activities were not of much interest to me .

My wife is handicapped and uses a scooter on the other 3 main cruise lines I have been on have given consideration of that by not waiting in lines and I found on this ship especially people who had just walked up to get on an elevator after we would wait sometimes threw 3 elevators stopping but because of the scooter we could not get on would push ahead and totally inconsiderate . I had booked it again for a second cruise with my daughter but I am going to cancel .

Cabin Review

Cabin storage great , TV in front of bed bot awkward watching from couch , bathroom toilet in a tight space with toilet paper to your side and behind you .When I entered cabin there was left behind from the previous people a bottle of open wine in the frig which has a see thru glass door and on the shelf was the envelope that their ship passes were in with their names on them .
