Sail Date: Dec 2021

We were happy that this was a 12 night cruise returning Christmas eve. The ports were amazing and while we like a smaller ship, they are sailing at 60% capacity and so it didn't feel crowded or uncomfortable even with Covid restrictions.

The entertainment on this ship "we will rock you" and "Jersey Boys" makes up for the larger ship and the service as ever is perfect. Few food choices not great but over all for a large ship, it was great. Symphony is even larger but to me the lay out of the ship is better so it didn't feel as crowded on that ship, but we went out in the first month so there is that new ship feel. We loved the excursions we took, just by luck. We have friends in San Juan so that was a bad situation the ship was 2 hours late into port and some people missed their excursions. THOSE who didn't book with RCCLS lost money on their excursions, we were chatting with people waiting to get off. but again, we were lucky for what we did and loved each port experience. St. Kitts RR was fab, swimming with the sting rays, the best of Barbados (botanical garden and gun hill) and st maarten on our own.

Cabin Review

we were on deck 12 a bit aft, and long walk to elevator. But fine with us.

For those who get sea sick it was higher than our usual choice (we were in a guarantee and saved $800 that way)

but overall very happy.

Port Reviews

Antigua

Swimming with the stingrays may have been the best excursion of our lives and that included being in Europe. It was unforgettable.

Barbados

The best of Babados with the botanical gardens and Gun Hill (I think it's called that) and St John's church, fab views, and the garden had a great guide who made it so much fun.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

You must do that RR tour, we could have done it twice in a row, so much fun and you get to see the entire island.

St. Lucia

Cat to the pitons, so much fun and men on kyacks swam up to the boat to sell their handmade goods, Titus was a great man supporting his family and a good craftsman.

St. Maarten

After the hurricane damage not a fan of this island. Irritating vendors on the beach won't stop and I realize they are poor but it was disturbing.
