I chose this cruise because a few years ago we went on a American Queen Voyage. It was wonderful. Since it was the same company I thought this would be too. A few days before our voyage they changed our dining time to 7.30. I tried to change it back but they said it was because of the CDC guidelines. (some people did get it changed) They also sent us an email saying that there would be dining in the grill if we didn't want to wait for this seating. That did not happen. The grill closed at 1:00. I think they did not have enough staff because those employees were working in the dining room when we arrived. The food was mediocre to say the least. You did not get what was on the menu and they just gave you whatever they had. The employees did try there best and were very nice. Also on the excurisions a lot of places were closed for renovations so the excursions were less time. There was not enough to do on the ship. Some rooms like the library were very warm and the show room was freezing. We all bought our winter coats. If you went on the excursions you did not have a chance to hear the river lorian. That was only at 9:30 in the morning. I think they should have had one in the afternoon. It would have broke up the day.
Very nice. Huge shower. The cleaning of the room was excellent. And the employees were awesome.
