We had a category 1A cabin on the 8th deck, The balcony was typical, small with two chairs and a small round table. We enjoyed it as there were no passengers on either side of us or anywhere to be seen, actually. Our cabin stewardess, Jaqueline, was so wonderful and so sweet! She said we were the only ones she had on that deck and her cabins were spread all over the ship. No assistant, either. We told her that she didn’t have to clean it in the mornings, just in the evening, and really not then. She cleaned very well every evening and made the bed so tight you could barely get the covers pulled back! She was so good, she even folded up our clothes and neatened up the stuff we had all over the dresser top! We enjoyed talking with her. She is from South Africa and was going back home a week after this cruise. Her husband worked on the ship as well.
