The beautiful Ruby Princess now sails from my neighborhood @pier 27 Embarcadero. The crew are quite wonderful. The food is very good. It is an all together great cruise. I recommend the ship highly. The Mexican Riviera had beautiful weather at all ports: Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, and Manzanillo. The North American winter is the sunny and dry season on the beautiful Mexican Pacific coast. The convenience of sailing from my home port of San Francisco, without having to fly to Miami/Ft.Lauderdale/Los Angeles is really great especially in light of the current awful problems with air travel.

More about the wonderful crew aboard this beautiful ship: every one of the crew of over 1,100 courteous and efficient people have been truly wonderful, without exception. As for dinning on board the Ruby Princess, the meals in the main dinning rooms were all delicious and beautifully presented. A different menu each of the ten nights on board. Specialty dinning was also available for a small cover charge, which was provided to me complimentary on one evening, Christmas Day. San Franciscans, try this out on our “Home Town Cruise Ship”. Cheers.
