We picked this cruise after having so many cancelled, that we wanted to to try something new. A new ship for us. New ports for us. Flying to a foreign country was new. A great price after all the credits. The stress level was new too with all the requirements between the cruise line, airline and countries. We flew out of Miami, and for those doing that for the first time in this day and age, my advice is get there four hours ahead your flight. The lines are long, the delays are long and changes will happen, so be prepared. After arriving in Bridgeport, the check points are many, the lines are long, getting your luggage is not easy, and a cab ride to the port is long (but relatively cheap.) And then another covid test, and another wait. The first day was the worst ever, but by the time you meet your cabin steward and see your luggage the world is back to normal.

This was the first cruise back for most of the staff and there were a few new members mixed in. It took awhile to get everyone up to speed. One pool attendant couldn't understand we wanted to give him two old towels for two new ones without checking our card. I don't think they went in Miami for supplies during the past 18 months. They had new king size pillows for us, but they were in queen cases. I met someone that didn't have pillows. Some people had major 'overflow' issues. They could of done a better job of cleaning the outside of the ship before this cruise.

Food was great, didn't see all of the shows, staff was more than accommodating - around 800 guests with 800 crew. Ports were fine. Loved the differences in money, climate, and education that these islands have. While St Marteen has the money, Dominica has the weather, and St Vincent has the education.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Aft cabin Overall very good. Some minor issues due to age of ship. Still gotta watch out for the soot in the morning. Breakfast on the Balcony is fantastic.

Port Reviews

Dominica

Talk about rain! Every hour on the hour for 5 minutes. Visited the rainforest and aptly named. Wonderful tour. The dock area needs work or more importantly more ships to make that happen.

St. Vincent

Did the 'taste of' tour. Nice ride to the other side of the island, away from the active volcano. Great food and drink.
