We worked with a Travel Agent who presented us with 3 cruise options that met our time and finacial requirements. The NCL Breakaway worked best with our schedule and budget.

The minute we arrived at the pier, we were directed to a nearby hotel where we had our Covid test done. The testing process was so well organized and streamlined. It took about 15 minutes to get our results back. Once we got our negative results, we went to another area to check in. That too was organized and moved quickly. Once we got on the ship. staff were amazing. Very friendly and professional. This was our experience during the whole duration of our cruise. The staff were attentive and seemed so appreciative to be working. Our room was nice. The restroom and shower were actually bigger than expected.

Since the Breakaway has freestyle dining, it gave us the opportunity to eat at different restaurants ranging from the buffet to more specialty restaurants. For our specialty restaurant choice (you have to pay for it) we went to Tepenyaki. Our chef was fabulous and very entertaining. The food was so good. The Garden Cafe Buffet always had so many wonderful choices. We ate at the Manhatten and Taste a few times (they have the same menu but Taste is a smaller place) and the food was always great.
