My 1st pandemic era cruise in two years. If you were elite you may miss pillow chocolates, free internet minutes AND your commend loyalty credit. I love being loyal when the feeling is mutual - wish Princess was able to feel the same way. The cruise was as expected. Everything was up to par. The crew was happy and attentive. Our Xmas sailing was limited to around 1100 passengers so every guest got pampered attention. Never any crowds or short temper displays when sailing at this capacity. But cruise lines have to be profitable to exist, so enjoy it while you can. C/D Matt and his staff kept the pace and variety of onboard action at a level where if you were bored, it was out of choice. We had good weather & smooth seas. Action ashore on our Western itinerary was likewise subdued. Even tho there were 4 ships in each port we visited, the towns felt eerily ghostly from the reduced capacity levels of each. If you enjoy being indulged, this is a great time to be traveling!!!
