In a nutshell: If you value service or food, avoid MSC. Food quality is horrible. Fullstop. Not even burgers and Hot Dogs they get right. I am from Europe, living in the US.This food is by no European or American standards acceptable for a major cruise line.

Service in the main Restaurants and buffets varies, but is generally very friendly and attentive.

The Bars are another story, I almost never got the drink I ordered. The Menies they have are fully outdated, most premium wines and spirits where not available. Or available at only one bar (randomly). In 89% of my orders I got either cheaper wine than ordered (Prosecco instead of champagne), wine that was open for 5 days and tasted like that, etc. service in bars was very very erratic. Often fast and good (with an inferior drink though), sometimes super slow.

Cabin Review

Premium Balcony

Great premium balcony at the back of the ship. It had an „alcove“ with a double bed on it, so the cabin was very spacious for two adults and two kids. Baby crib fitted in easily
