I did not expect this cruise to be cheap but I didn’t not anticipate it to be THIS expensive. I would have booked with a different cruise line if I had known that the “free” stuff is not actually free at all. I used my credit card points to book this which covered about $1,400 of it. Me and my boyfriend had to pay roughly $1,000 additional each to cover all the taxes, gratuities, and hidden fees that they don’t disclose to you unless you look for it. I have sailed other ships that were way cheaper and were way better. We were also not notified of the ropes course/zip lining being closed for maintenance and were very disappointed that they did not let us know.
We played and watched bingo each day they had a game and there was not a single jackpot winner. Most, if not all, the game shows, no jackpot winners. With the amount of people paying to play, it was extremely suspicious how no one was winning more than $200 in prizes. Only on the final day did someone win about $800, not even the jackpot. There were lots of shady and misleading things that happened on board and it seemed very disorganized as the crew would each give us incorrect information for the same question. When we brought our concerns up to guest services, there was always an excuse and apologies for the inconvenience with no resolution offered. They would tell us they would “make a note of it in our file.” They didn’t really care that we were not satisfied. We also had to call housekeeping a few times because our steward would just not show.
Very spacious and modern. I loved the balcony.
Very sad.
