Originally cruise was booked on Harmony to sail with family. Covid caused family to cancel for a refund and my wife and I secured an FCC requiring a sale date prior to December 31, 2021. RCI changed policies and procedures several times, but we chose to proceed with a cruise prior to the above date.
My wife and I have cruised more than 20 times and on various ships and cruise lines. This was our first RCI and first mega ship cruise. The cruise was highly anticipated because of many reviews commending the Broadway productions and other ship entertainment. Luckily the Harmoney did not disappoint.
The ship is fantastic in my opinion. The crew and staff worked extremely hard to maintain a safe and enjoyable cruise. Having to make reservations for entertainment is somewhat of a challenge but works. Having to check in just prior to going to the dining room is also cumbersome, but effective. We were escorted directly to our table without having to check in at the desk. Works great.

Perfect Day at CocoCay
For me CocoCay is rated only a four out of five. Those who participate in more of the activities such as zip line probably rate it higher. Choosing to ride the tram was a mistake as it was a twenty-minute wait for the ride over. Short trip so best for mobile people to walk. Could not see much from the island tram. Food was good, especially the hamburgers. Found a good snorkel spot at Chill Beach just behind a row of rocks just a few yards off the beach. Took my own gear so the snorkeling was not bad for free.
