For the most part we loved this cruise and would go again. I am not sure I would take it again during Thanksgiving. School is out in Houston and the ship is full of kids. The teens tend to form groups of 15 to 20 and take over one venue then another. It would help if the Solarium was over 21 and not over 16. It would also be nice if there was not a path that goes through the Solarium.

The entertainment was great except for Saturday Night fever. The cast was very talented but the play is depressing. Not what I want to see on a cruise. I would have watched everything else twice on this cruise.

We eat most meals in the main dining room and thought the food was above average and the service was excellent. We also loved the pizza.

Port Reviews

Belize City

Tender port. I don’t think I would get off the ship in Belize unless I had an excursion booked. We have done the Lamanai excursion tour before and that was great.

Roatan

In Roatan we did the Skip and Dip excursion with Victor Bodden. It was great holding a sloth was a highlight of the trip. Feeding the monkeys and birds was cool. The shopping and beach were great. We will do again next time we are on Royal.
