Sail Date: Dec 2021

This is my second MSC cruise this year. I got a good deal for a cruise around Christmas time and needed to take my hubby on one before year end so why not.

What I like about MSC is their safety protocols in terms of having to wear a mask indoors and not every table is available in the buffet or other venues. I also like that the staff was very nice and attentive. The ship was very clean and quiet and not at full capacity.

Here's what I didn't like and did not expect. This itinerary included MSC's private island and since I was there in August I was looking forward to the night events on the island. Unfortunately that was not the case. We did go to the island but only until 6 and because of that my husband did not get to experience the lighthouse show or the beach party. Those are great events and it was not offered. Also this ship does not have an ice cream machine. We cruise several times throughout the year and have never seen a ship with no ice cream.
